Add mode (the '+' setting on the decimal switch) is a classic bookkeeping feature. When active, any integer you enter is automatically divided by 100, saving you from typing decimal points. For example, typing '150' and pressing '+' will enter '1.50'. Typing an explicit decimal point overrides this behavior.
Can I edit or annotate the paper tape?
Yes! Since this is a digital paper tape, you can click on any entered number to correct typos or click on the label space to add a description (like 'Rent' or 'Gas'). Deleting a line or modifying a number will instantly recalculate all subsequent subtotals and totals.
